Wildcats roll to 110-45 win over West Coast Baptist

OGDEN - Six players scored in double figures as Weber State rolled to a 110-45 win over West Coast Baptist Tuesday night at the Dee Events Center.Â
All 10 players that played scored as Weber State never trailed en route to the win over West Coast Baptist, a National Christian College Athletic Association school out of Lancaster, California.Â
West Coast Baptist cut the Wildcat lead to eight points before Weber State closed out the first half on a 26-1 run to blow the game open. The 'Cats led by as many as 68 points and held on for the 65-point win, which is tied for the third largest margin of victory in school history.Â
Several Wildcats had a chance to see significant minutes and had career-highs. Freshman Trevon Ary-Turner led the way with 22 points and four 3-pointers. Zach Braxton had a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds in 21 minutes of play. Jerrick Harding added 17 points and didn't miss a shot, finishing 6-of-6 from the field and 5-of-5 from the line in just 16 minutes of play.Â
Freshman Ricky Nelson had 12 points with seven assists and Brenden Morris added 11 points and six rebounds. Freshman Michal Kozak also had nine points and six rebounds.Â
Weber State now heads to the Bahamas for three games at the Island of the Bahamas Showcase starting Friday at 6 p.m. MT against Iona.Â
