Wildcats drop final game in Bahamas to Bradley

Weber State dropped its final game of the Island of the Bahamas Showcase, falling 70-64 to Bradley Sunday afternoon in Nassau.
Bradley closed the first half on a 20-5 run and held a 12-point lead at halftime. The Wildcats came back to tie the game with 4:28 to play and the 'Cats trailed by two points in the final seconds before Bradley made six free throws in the final 26 seconds to hang on for the win.
The Wildcats shot 46 percent from the field, compared to 45 percent for Bradley. WSU also knocked down 11 3-pointers but was outrebounded 40-24. Bradley was 18-23 from the free throw line, while the Wildcats shot just 3-8.
As he has in all three games in the Bahamas, Jerrick Harding led Weber State, finishing with 26 points with four 3-pointers and four rebounds. In the three games at the tournament, Harding averaged 26 points per game, shot 60 percent from the field, and 10-11 from the free throw line.
Brekkott Chapman had a season-high 16 points and also made four 3-pointers and Ryan Richardson added 11 points with three more 3-pointers. WSU had just three points off the bench.
The Wildcats (3-2) return home to host Black Hills State Saturday, Nov. 25, at 7 p.m. at the Dee Events Center. Following that game, WSU will play at Fresno State on Nov. 30.
