'Cats make 19 3-pointers in win over Black Hills State

OGDEN - Weber State tied a school record for 3-pointers and rolled to a 105-52 win over Black Hills State Saturday night at the Dee Events Center.
The Wildcats never trailed and shot 65 percent from the field in the win over Black Hills State, an NCAA Division II school out of Spearfish, South Dakota.
WSU knocked down 19 3-pointers, tied for the most in school history. The Wildcats also outrebounded the Yellow Jackets 39-25 and had 24 assists.
Junior Brekkott Chapman had a career-high, finishing with 29 points on 9-of-12 shooting, including 7-of-8 shooting from 3-point range and 4-of-4 from the free throw line. He also grabbed five rebounds and had three steals.
Jerrick Harding added 24 points on 9-of-10 shooting, including 5-of-5 from 3-point range. He also dished out four assists and had two rebounds.
Zach Braxton added 10 points and five rebounds and Dusty Baker had nine points off the bench.
The win moves Weber State to 4-2 on the season. The Wildcats will hit the road for their next three games, beginning Thursday at Fresno State.
