OGDEN – After running a personal record in the 100-meter hurdles, Tawnie Moore has been named Big Sky Conference Women's Track Athlete of the Week.
Moore ran a blazing 13.56 at the Triton Invitational hosted by UC San Diego, the fastest time in the Big Sky this season and a .08 improvement over her previous best set in Logan during the Mark Faldmo Invitational.
Moore's time is the second-fastest time in Weber State history, and a Top 10 all-time mark in the Big Sky. It also ranks 33rd in the NCAA Western Region, and is the third time this spring she has reached a new personal best.
Weber State will be back in action this weekend at the Robinson Invitational, hosted by BYU in Provo.
