Weber State men's basketball's all-time leading scorer, Jeremy Senglin has signed a contract with the Brooklyn Nets. The team announced the signing Friday. Terms of the contract were not released.

Senglin participated with the Nets in the NBA Summer League. In the four games he played in the summer league he averaged 7.0 points and shot 45.5 percent from the field. He was also 6-of-14 from 3-point range in the four games. He scored 14 points in 19 minutes of play with three 3-pointers in Brooklyn's 95-66 win over New Orleans.

The Arlington, Texas, native finished his four-year career at Weber State earlier this year and left as the school's career leading scoring and the Big Sky Conference's career leader in 3-pointers made. He was a two-time First Team All-District and All-Big Sky Conference selection. He finished his career ranking in the Weber State career top 10 list in 12 different categories.

This past season Senglin scored 719 points in his 33 games with the Wildcats, the second-most points in a season in Weber State history. He also made the most 3-pointers of any player in the country, knocking down 132 3-pointers during the season, a school and Big Sky single-season record.

The Nets open the 2017 preseason Oct. 3 against the New York Knicks.
