Wildcat football now ranked third in the country

OGDEN - Weber State football has made another move in the polls and once again has reached its highest ranking in school history. The Wildcats are now ranked third in the country in the latest STATS FCS poll, the first time the 'Cats have ever been in the top three in the nation.
Weber State is 7-2 overall and 5-1 in Big Sky play following Saturday's 26-14 win over Sacramento State. The Wildcats have won four straight games.
North Dakota State is a unanimous number one in the STATS polls followed by Kennesaw State. Weber State is third with fellow Big Sky teams UC Davis fourth and Eastern Washington fifth.
Weber State also moved up to fourth in the AFCA Coaches poll.
Head coach Jay Hill and the Wildcats have two games remaining in the regular season and face back-to-back rivalry road games at Southern Utah on Nov. 10 and at Idaho State on Nov. 17. Idaho State is ranked 24th in the country in the STATS poll.Â
