OGDEN – Weber State volleyball held its annual purple and white match and purple came away with three game victories of the three games played.

Playing for the white team was Sam Schiess, Dani Nay, Aubrey Saunders-Adams, Kennedy Redd, Halle Evans and Katelyn Erwin with Hannah Farr and Emily Olson substituting.

"My teammates are amazing," Andrea Hale said. "It's so much fun to play against them every single day. They're all competitive. We have a great feeling in the gym and everyone works really hard. It was fun to show off all of our hard work to our friends and family tonight. We can't wait to get the season rolling."
Gneiting led the night with 13 kills from 43 attacks. Redd and Hale each put up double figure kills with 10 each.
Schiess had the top hitting percentage on the night with six kills from 12 swings and no errors for an even .500.
