Weber State football is in first place in the Big Sky and is once again ranked third in the nation as the Wildcats return home this Saturday.

WSU defeated Sacramento State 36-17 Saturday in a first-place showdown. The win improved the Wildcats to 5-0 in Big Sky play for just the second time in school history.

The six-game winning streak is tied for the fifth-longest winning streak in WSU history.

Weber State remains third in the nation in this week's STATS media poll and the AFCA Coaches poll. WSU has been ranked in the top 10 for a school-record 18 straight weeks and 21 of the last 22 weeks.

After two games on the road, Weber State returns to Stewart Stadium for two of the final three regular-season games, beginning this Saturday.

The Wildcats host No. 22 North Dakota Saturday at 2 p.m. at Stewart Stadium.

It will be Hometown Heroes Day with all local police officers, firefighters, first responders, and military personnel receiving two complimentary tickets to the game, as well as additional discounted tickets.

Don't miss your chance to watch the first-place Wildcats this Saturday at Stewart Stadium.
