OGDEN - Weber State volleyball took on Northern Colorado Thursday night and fell in four sets to the Bears.

What head coach Jeremiah Larsen said: "UNC showed why they are the elite team in our league. They played a more consistent game and we struggled at finding the consistency to win tonight."

How it happened:  Northern Colorado jumped out to a 10-5 lead over Weber State in the first set. Weber State hung close to UNC but couldn't ever take the lead and fell 25-21 in the first set.

The Wildcats were tied 7-7 with the Bears early in the set but eventually lost the lead and trailed 17-13. Northern Colorado had a 22-16 lead over the Wildcats when WSU scored three consecutive points to narrow the deficit coming into the final points.  WSU was able to score one more point before UNC took the second set 25-20.

Weber State trailed 9-6 in the third set but were able to tie it up at 10-10. WSU then took a 12-10 lead.  Weber State didn't give Northern Colorado a chance to take the lead back and pushed for a 25-20 third set win.

The Wildcats didn't gain much traction after their third set victory as Northern Colorado took control of the momentum and propelled to a 25-15 fourth set win over the Wildcats.
