Wildcats bounce back with 94-82 win over MSU

OGDEN - Five players scored in double figures as Weber State got back on the winning track with a 94-82 win over Montana State Saturday night at the Dee Events Center.
The Wildcats shot 54 percent from the field and knocked down 13 3-pointers, the most against a Division I opponent this season.
Weber State improves to 16-10 overall and 10-5 in Big Sky play, currently in third place in the conference standings with five games remaining.
The Wildcats finished the game 13 of 26 from 3-point range and also shot 13 of 16 from the free throw line. WSU had 15 assists with just seven turnovers and had 17 points off MSU turnovers.
Once again, Jerrick Harding led the Wildcats in scoring, finishing with 28 points with four 3-pointers. Freshman Caleb Nero tied his career-high with 19 points on 6 of 9 shooting and Cody John added 18 points.
Brekkott Chapman had his eighth double-double of the season with 14 points and 14 rebounds as he knocked down four 3-pointers. Michal Kozak added 10 points off the bench.
The Wildcats jumped out to a quick start and led 22-9 just seven minutes into the game. Montana State rallied back and took a one point lead at halftime.
Weber State put up 55 points in the second half, shot 63 percent from the field and knocked down seven 3-pointers to secure the win.
The Wildcats beat the Bobcats for the 11th straight time and the ninth straight win in Ogden.
Weber State hits the road for the next three games starting Thursday night at Sacramento State.
