WSU drops third straight 78-74 at Idaho State

POCATELLO, Idaho - Weber State dropped its third-straight game as the Wildcats fell 78-74 at Idaho State Monday night at Holt Arena.

The loss drops WSU to fourth in the Big Sky standings at 10-8 with two regular season games remaining.

The Wildcats led 35-33 at halftime before a big second half by the Bengals. ISU shot 54 percent from the field in the second half.

Weber State knocked down 13 3-pointers and shot 48 percent from the field but the Bengals outrebounded WSU 36-24 and had 22 second chance points, compared to just two for the Wildcats.

Four Wildcats scored in double figures led by Jerrick Harding with 18 points. Brekkott Chapman and Cody John each had 16 and Israel Barnes added 14.

The Wildcats close out the regular season with two home games this week, hosting Idaho on Thursday and Eastern Washington on Saturday at the Dee Events Center.
