Weber State head coach Randy Rahe announced that assistant coach Garrett Lever has left the program. Lever is taking a position in business outside of coaching.

Lever spent the past seven seasons on the Wildcat coaching staff. He spent two seasons as the Director of Basketball Operations and has spent the past five seasons as an assistant coach with the Wildcats.

In his time at Weber State, Lever was a part of two Big Sky Championship teams and two teams that went to the NCAA Tournament. He has also helped with player development, including NBA Draft pick Joel Bolomboy and Jeremy Senglin, Weber State's all-time leading scorer, as well as two-time first team All-Conference player Jerrick Harding.

"I'm really happy for Garrett and the great opportunity he has," Rahe said. "We are going to miss him dearly. He did a fantastic job with us for seven years and has been a huge part of the success we've had. We are really grateful for all he did for our program. I know he'll be extremely successful and we wish him nothing but the best."
