Wildcats return home for showdown with Montana Saturday

Blackout Game and matchup of two top 10 teams Saturday at Stewart Stadium.
OGDEN - The Wildcats are back home and face another national showdown Saturday when Weber State hosts Montana at Stewart Stadium.Â
The game with the Grizzlies will be a Blackout game with Wildcat fans encouraged to wear black.Â
The game will kickoff at 1 p.m. at Stewart Stadium. The game will also be televised in the state of Utah on KJZZ TV and streamed on ESPN+.Â
Weber State is 6-1 on the season and 3-1 in Big Sky play and coming off a tough 43-38 loss at No. 2 Montana State Saturday for the first loss of the season.Â
The Wildcats are ranked in a tie for fifth in the nation in this week's Stats Perform poll and are ranked seventh in the AFCA Coaches poll.Â
Montana is 5-2 overall and 2-2 in Big Sky play but is coming off back-to-back losses to Idaho and Sacramento State. The Grizzlies are ranked 10th in the nation in this week's AFCA Coaches poll and 11th in the Stats media poll. Â
This is the first game between the two schools since Weber State beat Montana 17-10 in the quarterfinals of the 2019 FCS Playoffs in Ogden.Â
Saturday's game will be the first of three-straight home games for Weber State. The Wildcats host undefeated Sacramento State on November 5 and host Idaho State on November 12 in the final regular season home game.Â
