Wildcats Fall To Cougars

Provo, UT - The Weber State women's tennis team fell 6-0 to the BYU Cougars this Friday morning in Provo, UT at the BYU Indoor Tennis Courts.

Starting doubles play and finishing first in the No. 1 position, Sicely Ferreira and Megan Davies fell to the Cougars Anastasia Abramyan and Bobo Huang, 6-2. Finishing second in the No. 3 position, Megan Lombardi and Yuuna Ukita took the upper hand against Emilee Astle and Kara Lin, 6-4 giving the 'Cats the opportunity to clinch the doubles point.

Ana Morett and Patty Kuo went up against Leah Heimuli and Helen Jiao on court 2 but ultimately fell 6-4, giving BYU the 1-0 advantage heading into singles.

The 'Cats struggled in singles play as the Cougars earned the victory on 6 courts, securing the 6-0 win.
Sicely Ferreira went unfinished on court 6.
