Weber State football adds 16 recruits on National Signing Day

OGDEN - Weber State football added 16 new players to join the Wildcat program as part of the February 2022 National Signing Day. WSU also signed nine players in the December signing period.Â
The Wildcats added players at several positions and the February class comes from seven different states. WSU added one junior college transfer and 15 high school players. Weber State added 10 players on defense and six players on offense, including five wide receivers.Â
A total of six players come from the state of Utah. Four signings are from Texas, two from California, and one each from Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, and Washington.Â
"We are super excited about another great signing day as well as the group we signed in December," said Weber State head coach Jay Hill. "We needed to fill a lot of our skill positions which we did and it is pretty balanced from the areas we recruit. This class has a ton of talent and we can't wait to see what they become in the next few years."
