Men’s Tennis Welcomes William Zulch

Weber State men's tennis is happy to announce the signing of William Zulch. William is the current (2021) South African National u/18 Singles Champion. He won the u/18 National Doubles title in 2020 and was in the top 500 ITF Jr. players in the world, although he has not played any ITF tournaments out of the country.
William has had good results recently against the top 200 players, losing against Connor Van Schalkwyk (Nam – now nr 51) 6-3 in the third and Atillo Boros (Bul) 7-6 in the third set. His big breakthrough came when he beat Michael Minasyan (World nr 113 Jr player) from Sweden in a Grade A ITF Jr tournament 4-6, 6-4, 7-6.
William is academically strong and is a prefect at his school, Paarl Boys High School (900 boys).
