Weber State adds football game at Colorado 2026

The Wildcats and Buffaloes will meet on September 12, 2026, in Boulder, Colorado in the first meeting ever between the two schools.

Weber State and the University of Colorado have announced a future football game for the 2026 season.

The Wildcats and Buffaloes will meet on September 12, 2026, at Folsom Field in Boulder, Colorado.

This will be the first-ever meeting between the two schools. The Buffaloes, under head coach Deion Sanders, are moving in 2024 to the Big 12 Conference.

This game completes the 2026 season for the Wildcats. Weber State will renew the longtime rivalry with Southern Utah with the season opener in 2026 in Cedar City. The two teams will begin a six-year series starting in 2026.

The Wildcats will host Northwestern State on September 19, 2026, at Stewart Stadium, before beginning Big Sky Conference play.

Weber State also has future Power 5 games scheduled with Washington (2024), Arizona (2025), BYU (2027, 2030), and Utah (2029).
