Weber State will open Big Sky play with two road games at Montana and Montana State

Salt Lake City, UT – The Weber State women's basketball team fell to the No. 11 Utah Utes by a final score of 36-89 this Thursday afternoon at the Jon M. Huntsman Center.

Weber State was the first to get on the board but the Utes pulled ahead as they strung together a 17-0 run to end the period with a 5-22 lead.

Resembling the first 10 minutes of game play, the 'Cats trailed the Utes 15-46 heading into the half.

The fourth quarter proved to be the best for Weber State as the 'Cats put up 12 points on the board. However, Utah kept the pressure on the Wildcats and the Utes closed out a 36-89 victory.

Top Performers:

Kendra Parra led the 'Cats with eight points.
Laura Taylor put up seven points and three rebounds.
