Jadyn Matthews Named Big Sky Player of the Week

Senior Jadyn Matthews earned her first Big Sky Player of the Week honor this season.
Ogden, UT – Jadyn Matthews posted 47 points in a pair of conference wins this past week against Sacramento State and Portland State.
Matthews averaged 23.5 points per game, shooting 55% from the field. She logged 16 rebounds, 10 assists and three steals. She recorded a career-high 30 points in the win over Sacramento State and capped off the week making 11 of 14 free throws.
Matthews has scored in double figures nine times this season and is second in scoring for the Wildcats at 11.5 points per game. She is first in rebounding and second in assists. In her 128 career games at Weber State she ranks fourth in career rebounding and 13th in career scoring.
