WSU also signed 10 players in the December class for the 2024 season.
OGDEN - Weber State football added to its 2024 signing class with the addition of 14 new players to join the Wildcat program. The group was signed as part of the February class and joins the 10 players that were signed in December 2023.Â
The February signing group includes four transfers. Noah Bennee is a junior tight end from the University of Utah. Terrance Caldwell is a junior offensive lineman from Cornell. Brojan De Asis is a junior defensive end from Golden West College and Dijon Jennings is a sophomore quarterback from the University of Akron.Â
The Wildcats also added 10 high school signings in the February signing period, which includes six defensive players, three offensive players, and one special teams player. The high school group comes from six different states and one from Australia.
"We feel this is an outstanding class and we're excited to see what this group of players will be," said WSU head coach Mickey Mental. "This is a group of high-quality players from great families and our staff did an outstanding job of building relationships and helping us address our needs."Â
WSU added 10 players in December with nine high school players and one FCS transfer.Â
In addition, Weber State welcomes back three returned missionaries that previously signed at Weber State. Linebacker Daniel Asisi (Provo, UT), defensive end Zhigy Falevai (Rigby, ID), and wide receiver Noah Kjar (Draper, UT), are all back at Weber State after missions and will participate with the Wildcats in spring practice.Â
Weber State was 6-5 in 2023 and finished the season with three straight wins, including a win over No. 4 Idaho.Â
The Wildcats will open spring practice in March, with the annual spring game scheduled for April 13.Â
