GAME NOTES: Wildcats travel to Flagstaff for their final road trip game of the regular season

• Weber State women's basketball travels to Flagstaff, AZ for their last road trip game of the regular season against the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks.
• The Wildcats and Lumberjacks will tip off at 2 p.m. from the Findlay Toyota Court in Flagstaff, AZ. The game will be streamed on ESPN+. Live video links and stats can be found at WeberStateSports.com.
• Weber State is 7-22, 4-12 in the Big Sky and currently sit in eighth place. The Wildcats are coming off a road game loss against the Northern Colorado Bears, 72-64.
• Weber State has been led by senior Daryn Hickok. She is 10th in the Big Sky at 12.1 points per game and has scored in double figures in nineteen games for the Wildcats. Hickok leads the team in scoring, free throws, and steals. Hickok was named to the Big Sky Preseason All-Conference team and earned All-Big Sky honors last year. She has played in 132 games in five seasons at Weber State and ranks third in career scoring.
• Senior Jadyn Matthews has scored in double figures sixteen times this season and is second in scoring for Weber State. Matthews collected a career high 30 points in the Wildcats game against Sacramento State on 1/11/24 while also recording a season high 11 rebounds and five assists. She is first in rebounding and second in assists for Weber State. Matthews has played in 140 career games at Weber State and ranks first in Weber State history in career games played. She also ranks fourth in career rebounding and eighth in career scoring. She was fifth in the Big Sky Conference in rebounding and 11th in scoring last season.
• Weber State is under the direction of first year head coach Jenteal Jackson who was named the seventh head coach in WSU history in April. A Utah native and former in-state college player, she came to Weber State after spending the last two seasons as head coach at Westminster College in Salt Lake City. Prior to becoming head coach, she spent nine seasons as an assistant coach at Westminster. She played college basketball at BYU and Westminster.
• Northern Arizona is 21-8, 13-3 on the season. The Lumberjacks won their last game 89-74 against the Idaho State Bengals and currently sit in second place in the Big Sky. The Lumberjacks are led by Sophie Glancey in scoring (14.7), free throws (3.7), rebounds (7.0), and blocks. Glancey sits in third place in the Big Sky in scoring and fifth in rebounding.
• This will be the 94th all-time meeting between the two teams with a series of 47-46 for the Wildcats. In the last match up between the two, the Lumberjacks beat the Wildcats 85-65 in Ogden. Northern Arizona is 24-18 in all-time games in Flagstaff.
• After Saturday's game, the Wildcats are back home in the Dee Events Center for their final game of the regular season against the Bobcats. Weber State will face Montana State on Monday Mar. 4 at 6:00 p.m.
