WSU Defeats Jessup 7-0

Rocklin, CA - Weber State came to compete in Rocklin, CA against Jessup University and brought home a win 7-0.

Every doubles match today secured a win for Weber. Starting with Megan Davies and Anan Morett, they had a clean sweep against Jessup with a score of 6-0. Following their match, Sicely Ferreira and Dylan Lolofie also came in strong with a score of 6-0. To end the doubles competition, Kenadee Semenik and Jessica Hill played hard against Jessup and ended with a score of 5-0.

Starting with the singles competition in court one with Davies, she dominated her match and won 6-3, 6-0. Following Davies, Morett came back strong in court two 6-1, 6-1 defeating Jessup opponent. Lolofie also defeated her opponent in court three with a score of 6-1, 6-0. Ferreira was able to snag a win as well in court four 6-2, 6-0. To end the singles competition, Schnell and Li Yang ended their matches with scores of 6-0, 6-0.

The women's tennis teams will be playing two more matches this weekend and look forward to bringing home more wins.
