Wildcat football holds 2024 Pro Day

Weber State Football held its annual Pro Day Thursday as a group of 11 Wildcat seniors showcased their talents in front of NFL scouts.

The Wildcat Pro Day was held Thursday afternoon at Stewart Stadium and included 11 Wildcat seniors: LJ Anderson, Maxwell Anderson, Ethan Atagi, Noah Atagi, Andrew Carter, Naseme Colvin, Haze Hadley, Jordan Lutui, Hayden Meacham, Winston Reid, and Kevin Smith.

The group performed in front of approximately 25 scouts from 22 NFL teams and one CFL team. They participated in drills, workouts, and assessments, including the 225-pound bench press, vertical and broad jumps, 40-yard dash, and other on-field position and agility tests.

Of the 11 former players, nine earned All-Big Sky honors during their career. Maxwell Anderson, Ethan Atagi, and Winston Reid all earned All-America honors. Several of the group were part of multiple Big Sky Championship teams and teams that advanced to the FCS Playoffs.

The 2024 NFL Draft will be held April 25-27 in Detroit.

Weber State currently has four players on NFL rosters, including Taron Johnson and Rashid Shaheed who both earned All-Pro honors in 2023.
