Wildcats finish 11th at Gans Creek Classic

Laurie Murphy finishes in the top 20
Wildcat cross country recorded an 11th place team finish at the Gans Creek Classic in Columbia, MO on September 27. The team tallied 395 points and competed against 38 other teams with six being ranked in the top 25 in the nation.
Laurie Murphy led the squad with a 19th place finish with a time of 20:27.7.
"I am really happy with Laurie, she ran a great race," head coach Paul Pilkington said. "We were dealing with some sickness that we may have scored without, but overall we ran well."
Four Wildcats finished with seven places of one another, Saga Hagelin finished 99th at 21:34.6, Frances Hudson finished 100th at 21:35.0, Jessica Hill recorded a time of 21:37.1 at 103rd and Hailey Low finished 106th at 21:38.3.
Danielle Brow recorded a time of 21:44.8 in 115th, Trisha Thompson Davis finished 116th at 21:45.0 and Courtney Earl finished 189th at 22:28.7.
The 'Cats will be back in action on October 11th at the Utah State Invitational in Logan, UT.
