POCATELLO, Idaho - By a score of 79-76, the Wildcats defeated the Bengals in overtime for the second time this season. The win marks Weber State's sixth in the Big Sky. The last time the Wildcats earned six Big Sky Conference wins was during the 2021-2022 season.

First Half | The Wildcats and Bengals exchanged points back and forth throughout the first quarter. Weber State trailed close behind Idaho State until a Kendra Parra three-pointer gave WSU their first lead at 15-13. The Wildcats carried that momentum going on a 10-0 run to extend their lead 20-13. WSU quickly extended its lead in the second quarter putting up two three-pointers courtesy of Taylor Smith and Rose Bubakar. The Bengals worked at the deficit, outscoring the Wildcats 19-13 but continued to trail the 'Cats by two at 37-35 heading into the half.

Second Half | The Wildcats continued to maintain their lead throughout the third quarter, not allowing the Bengals an advantage. Idaho State took back the lead early in the fourth quarter following a three-pointer to make the game close at 57-56. The Wildcats and Bengals went neck and neck throughout the remaining minutes of gameplay. Extending to a four point lead after a 5-0 run, the Wildcats advantage was short-lived due to a Bengals 7-0 run. Idaho State led 69-67 with just under a minute to go however, a couple late minute shots made by the Wildcats tied the game 69-69 and forced the teams into overtime. The Wildcats put up four good free throws allowing them to lead 75-71 and tough defense by the 'Cats for the remaining minutes of overtime awarded the team a 79-76 victory.
