Spirit Squad Nationals Sendoff set for Thursday

The National Champion Weber State Cheer and Dance teams will perform their national routines before heading to another national competition.
The National Champion Weber State Spirit Squad will hold a Sendoff party before they head to another national competition.Â
The Weber State Cheer and Dance team, both defending national champions, will hold a National Sendoff event on Thursday, April 3, at 7 p.m. at the Dee Events Center.Â
The teams will be showcasing the Large Coed, Small Coed and Dance national routines before they compete at the 2025 NCA/NDA Nationals in Daytona Beach, Florida.Â
Tickets are required for Thursday's sendoff. General admission tickets for $5 each are available at WeberStateTickets.com.Â
The Weber State cheer team won two Grand National Championships last season, posting the best score of any school in any division at the NCA National meet in the Large Coed and Small Coed competitions. It was the seventh-straight national title for the Wildcat Large Coed team.Â
The Wildcat dance team also won two national championships in 2024. The 'Cats won the Grand National title in the Jazz competition at the 2024 NDA Championships, and won the national title in Hip Hop. Weber State Dance also won the gold medal in Hip Hop representing Team USA at the ICU World Championships.Â
The 2025 NCA/NDA will be held April 10-12 in Daytona Beach, Florida.
