3 Wildcats named to All-Big Sky Team

Ogden, UT — The Weber State Wildcats men's tennis team had three players take home postseason honors, being named to the All-Big Sky Conference Team.
Ken Minh was named All-Big Sky Singles 2nd Team. The sophomore from Vietnam went 7-1 in Big Sky Conference play primarily from the number four position. Overall, Minh went 10-6 in singles play on the season. In his freshman campaign last season, Minh was named All-Big Sky Singles Honorable Mention after going 13-9 in singles play.
The Wildcats had two doubles teams take home postseason honors. Tristan Sarap and William Zulch were named All-Big Sky Doubles 2nd Team after going 9-7 on the season and 6-2 in conference, from both the number two and three positions. Connor Kruger and Ken Minh were named to the All-Big Sky Doubles 1st Team after going 12-6 on the season with a 5-2 mark in Big Sky play. The duo accomplished this while playing every match from the number one position.
It is the first postseason honor in the careers of both Kruger and Zulch. This is the third consecutive year Sarap has been named to the All-Big Sky Doubles 2nd Team after making the postseason team in both his sophomore and junior seasons. Minh was named to the Honorable Mention team last season following his stellar freshman season.
The 'Cats will head down to the valley of Phoenix, Arizona, as they begin the Big Sky Conference Tournament on Thursday morning. The number five-seeded Wildcats will take on the number four-seeded Idaho Vandals on Thursday, April 24th, at 9:00 a.m. (M.T.).
