Wildcat football adds future series with North Dakota State

The two teams will meet in 2027 in Fargo and 2029 in Ogden.
Weber State and North Dakota State have announced a future football series. The Wildcats and Bison will play in 2027 in Fargo and 2029 in Ogden.Â
The two teams will meet on September 11, 2027, at the Fargodome in Fargo. The return game will be on September 15, 2029, at Stewart Stadium in Ogden.Â
The two teams had a home-and-home series in 2004 and 2005, and again in 2014 and 2015.Â
North Dakota State has been the premier program in FCS football and has won 10 of the last 14 FCS National Championships, including the 2024 title.Â
The announcement sets Weber State's non-conference schedules in 20027 and 2029. WSU will open the 2027 season at BYU, followed by the game at North Dakota State, and a home game against Southern Utah.Â
In 2029, the Wildcats open at Utah, followed by back-to-back home games against Southern Utah and North Dakota State.Â
In 2026, Weber State begins a six-game series with Southern Utah. WSU also plays at Colorado and hosts Northwestern State in non-conference games.Â
