‘Cats start Big Sky play

Ogden, UT - Weber State soccer will return home as they kick off Big Sky Conference play this Thursday night against Eastern Washington. The team will close the weekend hosting the Idaho Vandals at 12 p.m. on Sunday.
The Wildcats closed out their non-conference schedule with a 6-4 record, giving them the most wins before conference play since 1997.
The Eagles come into Ogden on Thursday with a 4-3-3 record on the season. Their last result came on Sunday, September 21st, as they fell at home 2-1 to the Pacific Tigers.
This will be the 29th all-time meeting between the two conference foes, with the Wildcats leading the series 15-13. The Eagles, however, sport a three-game winning streak against Weber State, with the last win for the 'Cats coming at home in 2021 in a 2-1 decision.
The Vandals currently sit at 3-3-4 in their 2025 campaign and will take on the Idaho State Bengals on Thursday, before their match with Weber State on Sunday at 12 p.m.
Sunday will be the 18th all-time meeting between the two sides, with the Vandals leading the series 9-5-3. The last victory for the Wildcats against the Vandals was a 3-0 victory during the 2021 Big Sky Conference Tournament.
On Thursday, the Wildcats will celebrate Alumni Night as they honor those who have paved the way and laid the foundation for the program now and in the future.
The first 100 fans will also receive an exclusive Weber State Soccer shirsey.
