Weber State Jumps to Seventh Place Finish at Harbottle Invitational

TACOMA, Wash. – Weber State shot a final round 292 to move up two spots on the leaderboard, finishing seventh at the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational, which wrapped up on Tuesday at the Tacoma Country & Golf Club.
The Wildcats opened the tournament on Monday with rounds of 296 and 298 and concluded the tournament with a three-round total of 22-over par 886.
Gonzaga won the team title, shooting an 8-under par 856 for a six shot margin over second place Santa Clara.
Emily Song led Weber State, shooting rounds of 72, 74 and 75 for a 5-over par total of 221, carding 10 birdies along the way to a tie for 20th place.
Sofia Fuenmayor came in with a 6-over par total of 222 to tie for 27th place. She opened the tournament with rounds of 77 and 76 before jumping 26 spots on the leaderboard with a 3-under par 69 in the final round. She carded four of her nine birdies in the final round.
Jade Gruher and Adley Nelson tied for 35th place with 8-over par totals of 224. Gruher shot rounds of 74, 73 and 77, while Nelson posted rounds of 73, 78 and 73.
Cala Korman shot 80-75-75 for a 14-over par total of 230 to tie for 53rd place.
British Columbia's Sienna Harder shot 4-under par 212 to take individual medalist honors.
