Weber State football adds 12 in February 2026 signing period

OGDEN - New Weber State football head coach Eric Kjar has added 12 players to join the Wildcat program as part of the February 2026 signing day. This is in addition to the 18 players that Weber State signed in December 2025.

Kjar and the Wildcats have added 12 freshmen for the 2026 class. This February class includes 10 players from Utah, with one from Hawaii and one from Texas.

The 'Cats added six players on the offensive side and six on defense. WSU brought in quarterback Bronson Evans (Corner Canyon), along with three running backs in Weston Briggs (Corner Canyon), Levon Morton (South Oak Cliff (TX)), and Dyson Parker (Weber). WSU also signed tight end Landon Kjar (Corner Canyon).

On defense, the Wildcats signed three safeties Troy Ellermeier (Herriman), Jackson Folau (Highland), and Jaxon Toala (West). The 'Cats also added linebacker Hunter Knighton (Ridgeline), and two defensive linemen in Tevita Paongo (James Campbell (HI)) and Tonga Tafisi (Riverton).

Several of the signings in December and February are expected to serve church missions before enrolling at Weber State.
