Jace Campbell named Weber State football assistant coach

Campbell will coach the Wildcat outside linebackers.

New Wildcat head coach Eric Kjar has named Jace Campbell as an assistant coach with the Wildcats. He will coach the outside linebackers.

Campbell has spent the last six seasons on the Weber State staff as a student assistant and a Graduate Assistant.

He was a walk-on with the Wildcats in 2020, then began his coaching career with the Wildcats in the spring 2021 season, and spent four seasons as a student defensive assistant.

He has spent the last three seasons (2023-25) as a Graduate Assistant and Defensive Assistant with the Wildcats, where he assisted with linebackers and other defensive positions.

Campbell graduated from Weber State in April 2023 with a bachelor's degree in Communications and earned his Master's of Sport Coaching Leadership degree in April 2025.

He is a native of Pleasant View, Utah, and a graduate of Weber High School.

He is married to his wife, Brookelyn.
