GOODYEAR, Ariz. – Weber State wrapped up its final tournament ahead of the Big Sky Conference Championships on Wednesday, finishing in sixth place at the Bobcat Desert Classic at the Golf Club of Estrella.
The Wildcats shot rounds of 290, 304 and 294 for a three round total of 888. Weber State was 15 shots off the pace of Seattle, which took the team title with a total of 873.
Cala Korman paced the Wildcats, shooting a 3-over par total of 219 to finish in 10th place after recording rounds of 72, 74 and 73.
Braylyn Bayer bookended a second round 77 with even-par rounds of 72 on Monday and Wednesday to post a 5-over par 221 to tie for 12th place, giving the Wildcats a pair inside the top-20.
Emily Song went in red figures on Wednesday with a 1-under par 71 over the final 18 holes, and jumped into a tie for 30th with a total of 225. She opened the tournament with rounds of 76 and 78.
Sofia Fuenmayor tied for 38th at 11-over par 227 on rounds of 74, 75 and 78, while Adley Nelson shot rounds of 72, 80 and 80 to tie for 48th at 16-over par 232.
Brynn Bischoff competed as an individual for the Wildcats and tied for 64th place at 21-over par 237 on rounds of 79, 80 and 78.
Jade Gruher also competed in the event for Weber State as an individual, but withdrew from the tournament midway through the opening round.
Wyoming's Kiley Reisner took home individual medalist honors, finishing at 5-under par 211.
The Wildcats will be at the Big Sky Championships from April 20-22 at Wigwam Golf Club in Litchfield Park, Ariz.
