Saw action in three games for the Wildcats at linebacker before suffering injuries...Recorded three tackles on the year with two coming in the home opener against No. 1 North Dakota State.

2013 (Freshman)
Saw action in seven games as a freshman for the Wildcats...Finished the season with 22 tackles with seven solo tackles and 15 assisted tackles...Had a career-high 13 tackles at Eastern Washington...Also had two tackles for loss...Had a fumble recovery which he returned for a 38-yard touchdown for Weber State’s only touchdown at Utah State on Sept. 14.

Bonneville High School
Graduated from Bonneville High School in 2008...Played quarterback for the Lakers and led the team to the 2007 state tournament...Threw for 715 yards and two touchdowns during the 2007 season and rushed for 349 yards and four touchdowns.

Was born April 26, 1990...Parents are Fine and Madelyn Unga...Father Fine played running back at Weber State from 1987-88 and currently ranks fifth in career rushing yards in Weber State history with 2,298 yards in just two seasons...Fine was inducted to the Weber State Athletics Hall of Fame in 2014 and Spencer presented him at the ceremony...Is married to Mykklyn Unga...Is majoring in General Studies at Weber State...Served an LDS Church mission to Morristown, New Jersey before enrolling at Weber State.
