Justin Mullgrav
Justin Mullgrav is in his first season as an assistant coach with the Wildcat football program. He joined the WSU staff in January 2025 and coaches the Wildcat linebackers. 

Mullgrav joins Weber State with coaching experience in Utah and the Big Sky Conference. He spent the past two seasons as a defensive analyst at the University of Utah, where he was also previously a graduate assistant coach. He also spent time as an assistant coach at Eastern Washington. 

He spent the last two seasons (2023 and 2024) as a defensive analyst at the University of Utah, where he worked with former Weber State player and coach Colton Swan. It was his second stint at Utah as Mullgrav was a graduated assistant coach at Utah in 2019 and 2020. 

He spent two seasons (2021 and 2022) as an assistant coach coaching linebackers at Eastern Washington in the Big Sky Conference. During his time with the Eagles, Mullgrav coached multiple players to All-Big Sky honors. 

Before his time at Utah, Mullgrav coached linebackers at Fort Scott Community College in Kansas for in 2018. He was also a linebackers coach at ASA College in Miami. 

In 2016, he spent time in the NFL with the player personnel department of the Jacksonville Jaguars, where he served as a scouting intern, assisting scouting staff in generating scouting reports for college and players. 

Mullgrav is a native of Old Bridge, New Jersey. He was a standout linebacker at South Carolina State from 2012-14 and guided the Bulldogs to two Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference titles and two trips to the FCS Playoffs. He graduated from South Carolina State in 2015 with a degree in Criminal Justice, and earned a master’s degree from the University of Miami in 20216.
