Kris returns as a senior running back out of Mesa, Arizona. He has been a part of the Wildcat program for the past five years and has played in 36 career games. He has been a part of two Big Sky Championship teams and two teams that advanced to the FCS Playoffs.
He enters the 2023 season with 796 career rushing yards and 21 touchdowns.
2022 (Junior)
Played in 10 games and helped the Wildcats to a 10-win season and a trip to the FCS Playoffs…Had 46 carries for 194 yards and four touchdowns. Had a long run of 36 yards in a win at Portland State and had six carries for a season-high 76 yards in the win…Also had 10 carries for 32 yards against Sacramento State…Had two touchdowns of one yard each in the season-opening win over Western Oregon.
2021 (Sophomore)
Saw action in 10 games for the Wildcats during the season and finished with 63 carries for 229 yards…Also led the Wildcat team with six rushing touchdowns…Had 19 carries for 93 yards and three touchdowns in Weber State’s win at No. 2 Eastern Washington…Also had 13 carries for 33 yards and two more touchdowns in the win at Idaho State, and had a touchdown in a win at Dixie State…
Also had two receptions for nine yards on the season.
Spring 2021
Played in just one game due to injury during the season, as the Wildcats won a fourth straight Big Sky Championship…Saw action in WSU’s FCS Playoff game against Southern Illinois. Had two carries for two yards, including a one-yard touchdown run.
2019 (R-Freshman)
Played in 12 games and helped Weber State to a third-straight Big Sky title and a trip to the FCS Semifinals...Had 82 carries for 366 yards and led the Wildcats with 10 rushing touchdowns...Had a career-high 111 yards and three touchdowns in WSU’s win over Northern Arizona...Also had 84 yards and a touchdown in a win at Idaho and had two touchdowns against Cal Poly...Had two catches for seven yards.
2018
Was a red shirt during WSU’s second-straight Big Sky title season...Saw action in two games during the season...Had six carries for six yards and one reception for five yards in the season opener at Utah...Also had one rushing attempt against South Dakota.
Mesa High School
Earned All-Region first-team honors and was named the Region Offensive Player of the Year at Mesa High School...Rushed for 1,933 yards and 18 touchdowns as a senior and averaged nearly nine years per carry...For his career, he rushed for 3,683 yards and 40 touchdowns...Set a single-game record with 341 yards in a game...Also lettered in track and field at Mesa High.
