Winters joins Weber State after spending the past two seasons with BYU Women's Basketball as the Director of Video and Strategy. Prior to her time at BYU, Winters served as the Assistant Video Director at the University of Utah from 2015 to 2023.
She earned her bachelor's degree in exercise and sports science teaching from the University of Utah and her master's degree in sports and athletic administration from Gonzaga University.
Winters began her collegiate playing career at Big Bend Community College in Moses Lake, Washington, where she was named to the All-Conference First Team and All-Academic Team, while also serving as team captain and earning team MVP honors. She then transferred to Westminster College, where she was a two-time All-Academic Team selection, Co-Captain and led the nation in three-point shooting percentage at 52.5% during the 2013–14 season. While at Westminster College, she helped lead the Griffins to back-to-back Elite Eight appearances.
