During her first season, Baker led the Wildcats to a first-round Big Sky Tournament win against Portland State.
Baker joined the Wildcats after having spent the previous four season at the Air Force Academy. Before her time in Colorado Springs, Baker was at Central Washington where she helped guide the Wildcats to two-straight winning seasons, including an 18-11 mark in the 2018-19 season.
A Cheyenne, WY native, Baker started her coaching career at Central High School in her hometown. Under her direction, the school qualified for four consecutive state tournaments. She played collegiately for the University of Wyoming where she was a three-time All-Conference selection in the Mountain West. As a senior she averaged 17.3 ppg and 7.2 rpg.
