Marquis is in his first year on staff with our program as the Director of Video and Basketball Operations. Jones graduated from Weber State in Spring of 2021 with a Bachelors in Exercise Science and Sport. Jones was a student assistant with the program from 2019 - 2021 for the Wildcats.
This past summer Jones worked the Men’s and Women’s Basketball camps for BYU, and he constructed training sessions for local club teams throughout Northern Utah.
Jones is a native of Utah. His coaching experience began as the top varsity assistant and junior varsity coach at his alma mater, Clearfield High School from 2017 - 2019. During his time there he specialized in skill development and offensive strategies for the Falcons.
Jones played his collegiate basketball at Iowa Wesleyan University, formerly Iowa Wesleyan College, from 2014 – 2017. He was a starter and team captain for the Tigers. He served on the SAAC Committee for the athletics program as a player and spent time assisting in event coordination for the Special Olympics.
