Brad Ferreira, a former Weber State standout player, is the Director of Tennis and the head coach of the Wildcat men's program. He was named the head coach of the Wildcats in 2012.

He has led the Wildcats to three Big Sky regular season titles and one trip to the NCAA Championships. After the 2023 season, Ferreira has an overall career record of 120-134 in his time with the Wildcats and is 68-35 in Big Sky Conference matches.

He led the Wildcats to an undefeated,10-0, Big Sky regular season Championship in 2014. In 2015 he led the Wildcats to its second Big Sky regular season Championship. In 2016, he led the Wildcats to a three-peat of the Big Sky Regular Season championship as well as Big Sky Tournament Champions. The Wildcats then went on to make their first appearance in school history in the NCAA championships.

In 2024, he received the United State Professional Tennis Association Intermountain George Bacso Lifetime Acievement Award for his contributions to tennis. Additionally, in 2018, he was awarded the Intermountain Professional of the Year award from the USPTA. Ferreira has been a member of the USPTA for 31 years.

Ferreira is an alumnus of Weber State and played collegiately for the Wildcats from 1986-90. He played #2 singles and #1 doubles during his career at Weber State, helping the Wildcats to four-straight Big Sky Conference championships under head coach Keith Cox. Ferreira made an NCAA appearance in Doubles in 1988 and 1989 with partner Lindsay Rawstorne and finished 1989 ranked #11 (in doubles) in the country.

Following his career with the Wildcats, Ferreira entered the coaching ranks as a club professional, starting his career at the Ogden Athletic Club. After spending three years as a Teaching Assistant, he became the club's Head Tennis Professional and served in that capacity from 1993 to 2000.

During his time at the Ogden Athletic Club, Ferreira also coached on the ATP World Tour, guiding his brother, Wayne, who was ranked in the top 10 on the tour.

In 2000, Ferreira left coaching to work in the pharmaceutical industry, where he spent the next five years.

In 2005 Ferreira founded and build the Eagleridge Tennis and Swim Club in North Salt Lake, where he was the owner and operator until 2000.Â
