   One of the top women’s basketball performers in Weber State history, Cindy Stumph enjoyed local and national honors for her all-around game.

   Stumph came to Weber State from Canon City, Colorado. At 6-foot-3½, Stumph played center for the Wildcats in the early 1980s. The former Prep All-American was the tallest women’s basketball player in WSU history for many years.

   Stumph earned Second Team All-America honors following her senior season, and was a three-team All-Intermountain Athletic Conference honoree. She was a three-time Kodak All-Region 7 honoree.

   Stumph finished her career with 2,690 career points and 1,311 career rebounds, among the top marks in WSU history.

    In 1982, Stumph was named the Most Outstanding Athlete at Weber State University.

    Cindy Stumph-Stevens now lives in Colorado.
