WSU Comeback Falls Short in Flagstaff

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) -Kyle Landry had 24 points and 10 rebounds as Northern Arizona used a late rally to beat Weber State 74-71 Thursday night and clinch second place in the Big Sky plus a first-round bye in the upcoming conference tournament.
Josh Wilson finished with 15 points for the Lumberjacks (19-10, 10-5 Big Sky) as they won for the fifth time in the last six games and completed a season sweep of the Wildcats.
Weber State (14-13, 9-6) got 12 points apiece from Juan Pablo Silveira and Trevor Morris while Brody Van Brocklin scored 11 points and Kellen McCoy 10.
Northern Arizona led by 11 with 11:25 to play, but the Wildcats rallied behind the hot shooting of McCoy and Jamaine Nance.
Weber State took a 66-64 lead on Dezmon Harris' layup in traffic with 2:26 left.
Landry converted a 3-point play on the next possession and the Lumberjacks went on an 8-2 run over the next 2:12 to clinch the win.
