WSU Falls to Northern Colorado

OGDEN, Utah -- The Weber State women's tennis team dropped a crucial Big Sky match on Saturday with a 5-2 loss to Northern Colorado at Edman Courts.
The Wildcats fell behind early, losing the doubles point, two matches to one. Gabriela Venditto and Keya Adamson defeated Jodi Ciarvella and Karen Groll 8-4 at No. 2, but the 'Cats lost 8-3 at No. 1 and dropped a close 8-6 match at No. 3 to lose the point.
In singles, the Wildcats only managed wins at the No. 4 and 5 positions. Greyce Farias downed Groll 6-1, 6-4 at No. 4, while Adamson defeated Luiza Xavier 6-4, 6-3 at No. 5.
The Wildcats fall to 7-13 overall on the season and to 1-4 in Big Sky play. The Bears improve to 6-12 overall and 2-5 in the conference.
