Weber State Places 38 Student-Athletes on the 2008-09 Big Sky Conference Fall Term All-Academic Teams

OGDEN, Utah -- A total of 38 Weber State student-athletes were named to the 2008-09 Big Sky Conference Fall All-Academic teams in men's/women's cross country, women's soccer, women's volleyball and football.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must have met and/or exceeded the following minimum requirements. 1. Participated in at least HALF of the team's competitions. 2. Achieve a 3.20 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at the institution of the most recently completed term. 3. Completed at least one academics term at his/her current Big Sky institution.
The Wildcats had two student-athletes with a cumulative gpa of 4.00 for their careers. They are Beau Hadley (Defensive Safety) on the football team and Cassie Olson (Distance Runner) from the cross country team. Both Hadley and Olson are completing their junior seasons at Weber State, and both are graduates of Fremont High School in Plain City, Utah
