Trio of Wildcats Post Wins at BYU Invitational

PROVO, Utah -- Keya Jenkins, Elsje Beneke and Brittiny Moore each earned singles wins for Weber State in the B-Flight of the BYU Women's Invitational.
Jenkins and Beneke each advanced to the quarterfinals of the main draw, while Moore made a run to the finals of the feed-in Silver draw.
Jenkins got herself in the quarterfinals of the main draw behind a 6-2, 6-2 win over Utah State's Britney Watts. In the quarters, she was knocked out by Wyoming's Sasa Nemcova 6-2, 6-0. Beneke advanced to the quarters on a bye, and was eliminated by Andrea Maughan of Utah 6-0, 6-0.
In the silver draw of the B-Flight, Moore got past USU's Carla Limon in the first round. She then knocked off WSU teammate Jenkins 6-1, 6-2 in the second round and teammate Beneke 6-2, 6-4 in the Semifinals. In the finals, Moore was defeated by USU's Britney Watts.
Beneke advanced to the semis of the silver draw behind a 7-6, 6-1 win over WSU teammate Markay Mullen.
