Wildcats Swept 3-0 by Kansas State

The Weber State volleyball team was swept 3-0 by No. 23 Kansas State Friday night in Provo, Utah. KSU won the battle of the Wildcats 25-22, 25-22, 25-17 in the first match of the BYU Nike Classic in Provo.
The 23rd ranked Wildcats beat improved to 2-2 on the season, while Weber State dropped to 1-3 with two matches set for Saturday.
The first set saw 13 ties and eight lead changes before K-State pulled out the victory. They would trail just once the rest of the match, although the Wildcats stayed close throughout.
Kansas State out hit Weber State .356 to .186 and out killed WSU by ten. They hit over .400 in sets one and three of the match.
The Wildcats had eight kills each from Cailtyn Anderson and Chelsea Bair. Bair and Mikelle Kap led the way with eight digs each. Amy Fackrell hit .778 for the match, finishing with seven kills on nine attempts and no errors.
Weber State will face two matches Saturday in Provo. They will take on the BYU Cougars at 12:00 p.m. and then face Cal Poly at 5:00 p.m. BYU knocked off Cal Poly 3-2 Friday night.
