Weber State head men's basketball coach, Randy Rahe, knew his team was
facing an Eastern Washington team battling for its playoff life for the Big Sky

“I was really proud, and a bit awed, by the way we came out and established ourselves tonight,” said Rahe. “We played like we were in a championship game. Everyone contributed and everyone played hard.”
Eastern Washington took a brief 3-2 lead with 17:27 left on a jumper by Brandon Moore, but from their to the end it was all Weber State as the Wildcats built up a 51-24 lead at half time behind 16 points from Damian Lillard and 10 from Franklin Session. The 'Cats made 17-34 shots from the field including 6-10 from beyond the arc and held a 24-14 rebound advantage.

Lindsey Hughey came off the bench to score 11 and also had seven rebounds and four assists. Nick Hansen continued his hot hand from the three-point line, hitting 3-4 for nine points. Hansen is now 16-21 (.762) from the arc in WSU's last three games.
