Spirit Squad to Host Fundraiser and Sendoff Party

OGDEN, Utah -- The Weber State spirit squad will be hosting a fundraising dinner and a performance showcase on Friday, April 1st as a sendoff event for their Nationals competition that will take place next week.

The squad's dinner will take place at 5:00 p.m. on Friday at the Washington Heights Baptist Church. Cost is $12.00 for adults and $8.00 for children ages 4-8. Children three and under are free. The cost includes a big spaghetti dinner and silent auction, admission to the sendoff performance and a raffle ticket.

The performance showcase will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday night at the Swenson Gym (upstairs arena) on the campus of Weber State University. Tickets for the performance only will be $2.00 at the door (free for those that purchase a dinner ticket).

Come watch the WSU cheerleaders and dancers perform their nationals routines before they leave to compete at the NCA Collegiate Championship in Daytona Beach, Florida April 5th-11th.

All proceeds from the night's events will help support the WSU spirit squad.
