Wildcats Swept at BYU in Season Opener

PROVO, Utah -- The Weber State men's tennis team opened up the 2012 season on Friday night, but suffered a 7-0 loss at the hands of Brigham Young University.
The lone victory on the night for the Wildcats came at the No. 1 doubles position, where Simon Unger and Oliver Good cruised to an 8-1 win over the Cougars' top tandem of Georgy Batrakov and Patrick Kawka.
Ben Rode jumped out early on Travis Fillmore at the No. 6 singles spot, but Fillmore rallied and eventually took the match in a tiebreak third set.
