THE GAME
With back-to-back wins the Weber State football team will look to end its season on a streak as the Wildcats take on longtime rival Idaho State on Saturday. Weber State will play the Bengals Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in Holt Arena in Pocatello. The game will not be televised but will be broadcast live on 1430 KLO radio or on KWCR 88.1 FM. FIRST AND 10
• Weber State sits at 2-9 on the season and 2-5 in Big Sky play, following Saturday's 34-21 win over Northern Colorado.
• Idaho State sits at 7-4 overall and is 5-2 in Big Sky Conference play. The Bengals still have hopes to qualify for the FCS Playoffs.
• The Wildcats have won back-to-back games for the first time in three years.

• Idaho State leads the nation in total offense and in passing offense.

LAST TIME OUT
The Wildcats won for the second-straight time as they picked up a 34-21 win over Northern Colorado in the final home game of the season last Saturday at Stewart Stadium. The Wildcats fell down 7-0 early to the Bears but responded with three straight touchdowns and never looked back. Weber State forced five Northern Colorado turnovers and totaled 455 yards of offense in the win.

WINNING STREAK
After starting the season with nine losses, the Wildcats have now won back-to-back games for the first time since 2011. Weber State has not won three straight games since 2010. WSU has not finished the season with three straight wins since 2003.

TURNOVER MARGIN
For the second-straight game Weber State won the turnover margin as the Wildcats were +3 in the turnover margin in Saturday's win. Northern Colorado came into the game first in the Big Sky and fourth in the nation in turnover margin but the Wildcats forced five UNC turnovers and had two turnovers themselves.

DUSTIN MARTIN NAMED BIG SKY DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Weber State football senior Dustin Martin has been honored as the ROOT SPORTS Big Sky Conference Defensive Player of the Week. Martin earned the honor after helping Weber State to a 34-21 win over Northern Colorado Saturday.
Martin, a 6-3, 265-pound senior from Liberty, Utah, recorded eight total tackles with three tackles for loss in the win over the Bears. He also had a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, a blocked kick and a quarterback hurry in the win. He forced and recovered a fumble in the first quarter that led to a Weber State touchdown and a 14-7 lead. Later in the first quarter, he recorded a blocked punt, the first of his career.
On the season Martin ranks third in the Big Sky in tackles for loss and is ninth in sacks. This is his first Player of the Week honor of his career.

ANOTHER INTERCEPTION FOR DEON'TAE FLORENCE
For the second week in a row, Weber State senior Deon'tae Florence had an interception. Florence, a native of Largo, Fla., intercepted a Northern Colorado pass in the second quarter that led to a Weber State touchdown. He also recovered a fumble and had a pass breakup in the win.
Florence has three interceptions on the season and seven in his two-year career at Weber State.

THREE TOUCHDOWNS FOR JADRIAN CLARK
WSU started sophomore quarterback Jadrian Clark for the fourth-straight game last week and Clark responded with three passing touchdowns to lead the Wildcats to the win.
Clark threw all three of his touchdowns in the first half as the Wildcats jumped out to an early lead. He finished the day 16-of-25 passing for 251 yards, a season and career high.
Clark, a native of Lakeland, Fla., has played in five games for the Wildcats this season and has thrown for 815 yards and six touchdowns.

TWO TOUCHDOWNS FOR KAMANA KAIMIKAUA
Clark's first two touchdowns went to WSU junior wide receiver Kamana Kaimikaua. He caught a 23-yard touchdown in the first quarter and followed that up a few minutes later with a 33-yard touchdown. The two TD's were the first receiving touchdowns of the season for Kaimikaua and just the third of his career. He finished the day with four catches for 73 yards.
The Hawaii Kai, Hawaii native has 25 receptions this season for 248 yards. He is averaging 9.9 yards per catch.

TWO MILESTONES FOR BO BOLEN
WSU senior Bo Bolen reached two milestones while playing in his 44th career game Saturday. Bolen had 25 carries for 143 yards rushing and one touchdown in helping lead Weber State to the win. He had a 27-yard touchdown run in the third quarter that helped seal the win for the Wildcats.
In the process Bolen became the ninth player in Weber State history to pass 2,000 career rushing yards. He now has 2,073 career rushing yards and needs just six more to move into 8th place on the WSU all-time list.
In addition, Bolen became the Big Sky's career leader in kickoff returns as he had three returns in Saturday's win. He now has 105 career returns which is the most in Weber State and Big Sky history. Bolen needs just 40 more return yards to become WSU's and the Big Sky's career leader in kickoff return yardage, currently held by Bryant Eteuati.

WILDCATS SECOND IN NATION IN KICKOFF RETURNS
Weber State continues to lead the Big Sky and ranks second in the nation in kickoff returns, averaging 26.6 yards per return.

JAY HILL TAKES THE REIGNS AS WILDCAT HEAD COACH
Weber State named Jay Hill as the new head coach of the Wildcats last December, becoming the 11th head coach in school history. Hill comes to Weber State after 13 seasons as an assistant coach at the University of Utah. He has a reputation as one of the top recruiters in the West and has spent time working for three different head coaches at Utah.
Hill, 39, spent the last nine seasons as a full-time assistant coach under Kyle Whittingham. Prior to that, he spent four years as a graduate assistant and administrative assistant with the Utes under legendary coaches Urban Meyer and Ron McBride.

NEW COACHING STAFF JOINS HILL AT WEBER STATE
Hill also brought in a new coaching staff that comes to Weber State with a great deal of experience. Hill named Brent Myers as the associate head coach. Myers brings more than 30 years of coaching experience to Weber State.
Steve Clark was named the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. Clark spent six years as the offensive coordinator at Southern Utah and has also be an assistant at Utah and BYU.
Former BYU and NFL player Justin Ena was named the defensive coordinator and linebackers coach. Ena spent the last four years as the defensive coordinator at Southern Utah. He played four seasons in the NFL.
Hill also added seven other assistant coaches to the staff. Former Weber State and Utah player Kite Afeaki coaches the defensive tackles. Former Utah and NFL running back Quinton Ganther coaches the running backs, Lance Hunsaker is the Special Teams Coordinator and secondary coach, former WSU assistant Jason Kaufusi is back with the Wildcats to coach the defensive ends and Fesi Sitake is the Passing Game Coordinator and wide receivers coach. The only returning assistant coach is Colton Swan, a former WSU player, who will coach the tight ends and work as the Co-Special Teams Coordinator. Former Wildcat player Terrell Cloud has also been added as an assistant coach and Grant Duff was named the Director of Football Operations.

TEAM CAPTAINS
Coach Hill has named his team captains for the 2014 season and the four players bring lots of experience to Weber State. Running back Bo Bolen, offensive lineman Alex Land, defensive tackle Connor Myers and cornerback Deon'tae Florence have been named captains for the season. All four are seniors with the Wildcats and have combined to play in 156 career games at Weber State. Bolen and Myers were also team captains last year.

WILDCATS COME FROM ALL OVER
Weber State's roster this season includes players from 13 different states. A total of 34 players on the roster come from the state of Utah. The 'Cats have 13 players from the state of California, 10 players from Florida, seven from Idaho and six from Nevada. WSU also boasts from Arizona, Colorado, Hawaii, Georgia, Louisiana, Texas and Washington. WSU also has one player from Australia.

WEBER STATE SCHEDULES GAME AT CAL IN 2017
Weber State University and the University of California announced the two schools have scheduled a football game in the 2017 season.
The Wildcats and Bears will meet on Sept. 9, 2017 at California Memorial Stadium in Berkeley, Calif., in week two of the 2017 season.
The 2017 meeting will be the first ever game played between Weber State and Cal. The Bears will be the fourth Pac-12 team Weber State is scheduled to play during a five-year stretch. The Wildcats played at Utah in 2013 and at Arizona State in 2014 and will open the 2015 season at Oregon State.

INJURY REPORT
WSU freshman linebacker Emmett Tela did not play again last week. WSU lost freshman wide receiver Darryl Denby for the remainder of the season with an MCL injury suffered against North Dakota.

LOOKING AHEAD
Saturday's game will be the final game of the 2014 season for the Wildcats. Weber State will kickoff the 2015 season Sept. 5 at Oregon State.
